The Hunt 72 Motoryacht is a true motoryacht in the traditional sense of the word. Level changes are minimal from forward to aft, unlike a raised pilothouse yacht. There is only one step between pilothouse and saloon, contributing to a feeling of greater openness and spaciousness. Below there are three comfortable staterooms, two doubles with ensuite heads and one (optionally two) twins with head adjacent. A crew cabin, located aft, may be configured for single or double occupancy. The FRP composite hull, deck and superstructure are to be built in production moulds. At this time, the mould for the hull is complete. The remainder of the yacht is fully customizable. Many different interior arrangements and finishes are possible, as is a range of powering options, including pod drives. Hunt Design will work with each owner to develop the design to suit his unique requirements. As such, the 72 MY is an ideal blend of production and custom yacht building: production tooling based on a proven Hunt deep-V hull, coupled with almost limitless powering, interior and finish options.
