This handsome sixty-footer resulted from a long series of studies in which the owner and the Hunt office explored several design concepts in a range of sizes, finally settling on the well-proven Hunt 61 hull with a lowered sheerline. Two considerations drove the design: she was to be as low and svelte as possible, and she was to function not only as a day cruiser but also as a summer house, to be occupied for weeks at a time. To that end, she has a comfortable salon/galley with good views all around, a truly spacious master suite, and an airy hardtop-enclosed flybridge pilothouse. Conservative in her powering, she nevertheless reaches 23 knots, and will hold her cruising speed of 20 in almost any weather, thanks to the rough-water ability of the Hunt deep-V hull. |
