Hunt Design Home > Custom Yachts > Up to 70 Feet > 66ft. Sedan Motor Yacht
"Surf" is designed around the requirement for wheelchair access, and the resulting spacious interior and wide decks (even the foredeck is wheelchair-accessible) make her a "pocket megayacht". The side decks, the helm area, the full-width salon and the afterdeck are at the same level, resulting in a sense of spaciousnes unheard of in a boat of this length. Under the afterdeck is a double crew cabin, and forward are two guest staterooms with en suite heads, and a full-width owners' stateroom. Joinery was designed by Niemitz Design group, and built off-site by Mark Richey Woodworking, resulting in a level of finish and detail appropriate to the "pocket megayacht". New England Boatworks' light and rigid hull structure allows a 24-knot top speed with relatively modest power, and the Hunt deep-V assures a soft and dry ride.
